     CEILIDH BARN DANCE
Ceilidh dance Posted by Mike on Thursday, May 11 at 06:46:10 (3706 reads)

EskValleyRotary writes "The highly popular charity barn dance that the Rotary Club of Esk Valley has organised over the last few years will be held once again at Thornton’s Farm, on the outskirts of Rosewell.

This year’s dance will take place on SATURDAY 10 JUNE, from 7.30pm to midnight, with music being supplied by the renowned Gordon Clark Ceilidh Band. A bar will be available, and the ticket price of £10 includes a tasty serving of haggis, neeps and tatties at the break.

Monies raised will be donated to Maggie’s Centre plus other local charities.

Malcolm Bell, the member of Esk Valley Rotary in charge of organising the event, says, “We are delighted that through the generous support of the farmer we will again be able to have the Charity Barn Dance in Thornton’s Farm. It is an excellent venue and, combined with marvellous music from the Gordon Clark Ceilidh Band guarantees a great evening for everyone. I know demand for tickets will be very high so would recommend that people intending to come along order their tickets soon”.

Tickets priced £10.00 are available from normal contacts, or by telephoning Malcolm Bell on 0131 660 1708."
